This Privacy Policy explains how Battleship by LemiGuide (“Battleship”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our Android game, website and online services.
1. Information we collect
- Guest and account information: a generated user ID, nickname, avatar and profile settings. If you link an account, Firebase Authentication may process your email address, authentication provider and provider user ID.
- Game information: match results, shots, wins and losses, rating, level, rewards, inventory, missions, friend relationships and invitations.
- Device and technical information: app version, device and operating-system information, IP address, diagnostics, server logs and push notification token.
- Advertising information: Google Mobile Ads may process advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location derived from IP, ad interactions and consent choices.
We do not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings or payment-card details.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and maintain profiles, operate online matchmaking and private rooms, preserve progress, calculate rankings and rewards, send requested gameplay notifications, prevent abuse, show and measure advertising, troubleshoot errors, secure the service and comply with law.
3. Legal bases
Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the game, comply with legal obligations, and obtain consent where required, including for certain advertising and notifications.
4. Services that process data
We use service providers that may process data on our behalf, including Google Firebase for authentication and push messaging, Google AdMob for advertising, and infrastructure/database providers for hosting. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies and applicable data-protection terms.
5. Advertising and consent
Battleship includes banner, interstitial and rewarded advertising. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can review available privacy choices through the consent interface shown in the app or your Android advertising settings.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers required to operate the game, when you intentionally interact with other players (for example, your nickname, avatar, online state and game statistics), to protect users or the service, or when legally required.
7. Retention and security
We retain profile and gameplay data while your account remains active and for a reasonable period needed for operations, security, dispute resolution and legal compliance. Push tokens and technical logs may be removed or rotated sooner. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Battleship is not directed to children below the minimum digital-consent age applicable in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without required consent. A parent or guardian may contact us to request review or deletion.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You can edit profile information in the app and request account deletion at our account deletion page.
10. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are used for international transfers.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy as the game evolves. The latest version and effective date will always be published on this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
